About Megan

Background and Education:

Megan is originally from a small town outside of Williamsburg, Virginia. She was called to ministry at age sixteen and in pursuit of that calling she attended Gardner-Webb University majoring in Religious Education with a concentration in Youth Education Studies. After graduated with a BA from GWU Megan decided to continue her education. After applying to several schools she felt God leading her to stay at GWU to pursue her MDiv. in Christian Education. During her MDiv. studies Megan had the privilege of serving at New Pleasant Baptist Church as the Youth Minister. She graduated in May 2009 from GWU’s Master of Divinity program and immediately sought out a teaching position. She served with SCBEST for one year and began applying to Ph.D. programs. In the spring of 2009 Megan was accepted to Talbot School of Theology and is currently a Ph.D. student at Talbot School of Theology. She is studying Christian Education and hopes to teach at the college level in the future.
